Aims:
- to introduce a biography and to talk about the key features of this text type;
- to compare a journalistic treatment of similar events and discuss the differences in language choice;
- to explore compound and complex sentences and the meaning changes inherent in these structures;
- to develop pupils' skills in writing biographies using factual data as a source.
